Local Sites

This is far from a comprehensive list. But it is a list of Airsoft fields within a 1/2 hr travel window of Ipswich. The team have played at most of the sites listed, so we have personal experience of them. Airsoft Plantation

Environment: A premier mixed woodland field, frequently reviewed as one of the best sites in Essex.

Features: Known for its fantastic community atmosphere, excellent game scenarios set amongst The Mortar Pit, The Village, The Comms Shack, The Woods, The Scrublands and the many vehicles dotted around the site. Don’t forget the top-quality on-site catering and fully stocked on-site shop.

AWA HERTS

Environment: Set in 78 acres of mixed woodland which is a mixture of open woodland and dense woodland.

Features:- The site has a mix of open spaces , and structures spread over the expanse gaming zone. On game days there is a pop up shop from the guys at Airsoft Competitions.

Battleground Airsoft

Environment: – 100 Acres of varied woodland featuring trenches, forts, towers, a fuel dump, and a massive purpose-built village.

Features: Family-owned and highly accommodating to players of all experience levels. And they even provide free – yes, I said free bacon rolls to players on game days.

Combat Airsoft

Environment: – A vast 90 acre deep forest woodland site set inside Thetford Forest.

Features:- Features incredibly detailed target zones like a fortified outpost, a missile silo, a military check point, and a custom CQB Village. There is also a fully stocked on site shop and a hot food canteen.

Gunman Airsoft Tuddenham

Environment: A massive 45 acre former WWII Lancaster Bomber Base. Combining intense building to building CQB with open scrublands and woods.

Features:- Includes 13 playable buildings, an on-site shop, and complimentary tea and coffee. They also host regular FilmSim and open skirmish weekends.

RIFT Airsoft – Blackstone CQB

Environment: Pure, Fast paced indoor CQB

Features:- A meticulously designed “War-torn European Village” from the early 1980s. The site includes special effects, cameras, and sound systems for an immersive experience regardless of weather conditions. Has the bonus of having White Sphere Tactical on-site for all your should you run out, plus there are vending machines for snacks ,as-well as free tea and coffee.

Skirmish Billericay

Environment: 60 acres of mature mixed hardwood woodland which is a mixture of open woodland and dense woodland.

Features:- The site features a mixture of camo net fire bases, bridges, village, a massive CQB zone, and various low level zones structures and props. Also features a fully stocked on site shop, as-well as a café where you can purchase jot and cold food.

SPLATOON AIRSOFT

Environment: Set in a 14-acre wood, Splatoon’s stunning location has a variety of different terrains.

Features:- Its has a fully stocked on site shop, as well as a on-site café for hot and cold snacks, free tea and coffee all day.

Terminal Six Airsoft

Environment: 10 + acres of mixed woodland which is a mixture of open woodland and dense woodland.

Features:- The site is ever expanding and it currently has 6 playable zones consisting of the following Fuel Dump, Ammo Dump, Woodland, The Port, Jungle and Graveyard. Also has a fully stocked on site shop , and food is available on game days.
